How Verification Works
Let’s say you want to put the title of
“Director of IT” at McDonalds Corp
(or any company) on your resume.
Even if you never worked there, you can now pass
a typical employment background check
– without concern.
Our process helps jobseekers pass an employment
verification check – no matter what you have on your resume.
If you lack the skills or are incapable of doing a job –
then don’t lie!
If you can do the job, but are getting screened out
because you didn’t work at a prestigious company, or because there is a gap on
your resume… then our verification process will get you past most screenings.
Where is the Loophole?
The trick here is that a large majority of these companies’ hiring goes through staffing agencies For example, I worked at Nike, and almost 90% of the IT department were contracted through firms such as Wipro.
In these cases, although you worked at Nike, Nike’s HR department has essentially no record of your employment:
- They don’t have pay stubs
- Are not aware of your pay rate
- And would have to do research themselves to determine your dates of employment.
The only people at the company that could verify your employment is your direct supervisor (and a checker would not be able to figure out who that would be without your reference), and IT security – who will never answer a background check request (it would comprise the company’s security). Knowing all this, most background checks instead ask your staffing agency (in the above example, Wipro) for your information.
Therefore, to establish new employment history on your resume, all you need to do is to have a staffing agency verify your dates of employment, on behalf of a Fortune 500 or whatever company.
How do we solve this?
Background Proofers has a real consulting and staffing sister agency – which has been in business since 2015.
We have a registered business license (active for years), a legitimate website, and are actively engaged in consulting business. There is a human resources department at the agency, and prospective employers can dial into the main line and get forwarded to a verification service.
For a fee, our sister agency will allow you to use our employment verification services, as a reference for any jobs or related background checks.
When should this be used?
This service is for anyone who has a mistake in their past – which doesn’t define who you are – and you don’t want to lose interviews over it.
Or maybe you are seeking a 2nd or 3rd job, and don’t want your new employers to know about your current employment.
Or maybe you’ve looked around and realized that the people being promoted are those who are misleading about their experience.
Most importantly, this service is anyone who realizes that employers don’t actually care about you – and you care about building a future for your family.
When shouldn’t this be used?
Please take time to understand the situations that our service will not help you:
- We will not provide an alibi for any legal request, alleged crime, court case, etc.
- We will not respond to any government official, employer, or contractor running a background check on behalf of a government agency.
- We will comply truthfully with any law enforcement request.
- We will not participate in any scheme to knowingly defraud (or any other crime).
